Finalny album The Game'a już za tydzień - okładka i tracklista "Born 2 Rap"

Standardowo zapowiedź nowej płyty rapera jest raczej wiadomością pozytywną. Nowa muzyka i oczekiwanie na to, co artysta przygotuje słuchaczom powoduje mniejszy lub większy dreszczyk emocji. Standardowo tak jest, natomiast niestety nie tym razem.

Już w przyszłym tygodniu, bo 29 listopada, The Game przedstawi światu swój najnowszy album "Born 2 Rap" i niestety - jeśli wierzyć zapowiedziom - ma to być album, który zakończy karierę rapera. Oczywiście - bardzo często takie zapewnienia nie mają wiele z rzeczywistością i późniejszymi działaniami artysty, natomiast biorąc pod uwagę dość długą, bo trzyletnią przerwę wydawniczą The Game'a oraz niezbyt efektowne rezultaty sprzedażowe przy ostatnich projektach, można domyślać się, że chłopu zwyczajnie odechciało się pakować energię w muzykę.

Skupmy się jednak na nadchodzącym wydawnictwie, ponieważ oprócz tytułu i daty premiery, poznaliśmy dodatkowo okładkę oraz - co najistotniejsze - tracklistę. A na niej, jak to zwykle u Game'a, sporo dużych nazwisk, jak chociażby Ed Sheeran, Miguel, Anderson .Paak, czy nieżyjący już Nipsey Hussle. Zapowiada się więc dość ciekawie i miejmy nadzieję, że na "Born 2 Rap", kariera artysty się nie skończy.

The concept behind this photo goes way beyond what you see upon 1st glance & I absolutely cannot wait for all of you to hear the music that goes along with the album. Appreciation for my lil brother @jamilnotjamal for capturing my vision as well as @sandracstevenson & @chalicerecording for always being so welcoming, providing a home for me & my albums for the past 15 years of my career. I’ve had a great run & surpassed my rap goals along time ago.... it’s by God’s grace that I’m able to still be here to deliver full projects at this caliber in an industry where I’ve seen artists come & go. It will always be “QUALITY” over “QUANTITY” from where I stand. The REAL music will always prevail & this album will cap off an amazing run. I’m grateful for all the producers & artists who’ve helped this album become what it is & I am more excited for my fans than I am for myself. This album will go #1...... because it’s CLASSIC !!! & in 11 days you all will get to hear why.
