W nocy z 1 na 2 lutego w Los Angeles odbyła się 68. ceremonia wręczenia nagród Grammy. Najwięcej statuetek, bo aż pięć, zdobył Kendrick Lamar.

K. Dot zgarnął nagrody w kategoriach Best Rap Album ("GNX"), Record Of The Year ("Luther" feat. SZA), Best Rap Song ("TV Off" feat. Lefty Gunplay), Best Rap Performance ("Chains & Whips" z Clipse) i Best Melodic Rap Performance ("Luther" feat. SZA). Dzięki tym wygranym stał się raperem z największą liczbą złotych gramofonów w historii. Ma ich 27. Przebił tym samym rekord Jaya-Z, który może się pochwalić 25 statuetkami.

Nie udało mu się jednak wygrać w najważniejszej kategorii - Album Of The Year. Tutaj zwycięzcą został Bad Bunny za "Debí Tirar Más Fotos".
